The club is delighted to announce the signing of pacey forward Tafari Nicholas from Richmond Town
Tafari scored 44 goals in 70 matches during his time with Richmond and also has Northern League experience with Crook Town where he made 19 appearances, scoring on three occasions.
Tafari on signing for Northallerton:
“I’m a hard-working team player who loves to get goals. I’m happy to play in any position across the front line.
"I know a couple of the other Northallerton players such as Reece (Bickerton) and Jack (Stapley), so I’m sure I’ll settle in straightaway.
"This is a good opportunity for me to play at a really good level and show what I can do.”
Manager Jason Newall on his latest signing:
“What I really like about Tafari is his pace and athleticism. Our fans will love his hunger and desire.
"He’s another local lad who deserves this next step in his development. He learned his trade at Richmond and did really well.
Tafari has joined the right team to make this step up and it’s what he needs. I’m certain he will become a real asset for our club.”
