The club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Adam Walker from Richmond Town.
Adam is a hard-working midfield player who will likely endear himself to the Town faithful with his work rate and drive. Having amassed 172 appearances and 34 goals for Richmond, the 24-year-old will be eager for the chance to step up to Northern League football.
Adam on signing for Northallerton:
“I’ve played for Richmond since I was 17 and I’m really excited to make this step-up to the Northern League.
"I’m a central midfielder who likes to get from box to box and I can play in the wide positions as well. First and foremost, I’m a hard-working player who covers a lot of ground and gets tackles in.
"I feel I’m ready for this next challenge. It helps that I know a lot of the lads from Richmond, and we’re all determined to impress for Northallerton.”
Manager Jason Newall on his latest signing:
“Adam is the type of player who can become a fans’ favourite here. What they will see is that he plays with his heart on his sleeve.
"Adam improved every year at Richmond and this is the next stage in his development. He’s dedicated and a real team player who will cover more blades of grass than anyone else."
