
She joins Tom Andrews who will add support at midweek matches after accepting a full-time role at Gateshead.
Like Tom, Lucy has just qualified as a chartered physiotherapist following study at Teesside University and has a strong sports background. She is a keen netball player with Grangetown and captained the university team.
“I’m really enjoying my time at Northallerton,” she says. “Working with footballers is very different to some of my previous duties in hospitals and with older people.
“It gives me a lot more scope and working in sport is also good for my CV.”
Naturally, we wish Lucy and Tom a quiet season with injuries. And it’s good to know that should any of the players require treatment, we have one of the best physio teams in the league on hand to help.
