Leo made a big impression when he started the 2024-25 season with us as a 17-year-old. His versatility means he is equally at home defensively on the left and is an excellent crosser of the ball.
He made 12 appearances for Northallerton before leaving for Billingham Town in November 2024 and teaming up with our new manager, Jamie Poole.
“I’m really looking forward to playing for Jamie at Northallerton,” says Leo. “I enjoyed my first spell there and it was my first experience of Northern League First Division football.
“I thought I coped with it well and since then I’ve had a lot more playing experience with Billingham that will stand me in good stead. I’m really excited about rejoining Northallerton and it’s a good chance for me to kick on with my career.
“I also played with Dale Hopson (Northallerton’s new player-coach), so I know how he and Jamie like their teams to play. I can’t wait for pre-season to start.”
Jamie says: “I’m delighted to bring Leo over from Billingham. He’s a great footballer with so much potential to go higher.
“He always gives 100 per cent. He’s a tough defender that also gives so much going forward with his pace and energy down that left-hand side. He will be a fans’ favourite.”
