Josh became a mainstay of our back line after joining from Richmond Town in summer 2024 and developed into one of the best centre-backs in the Northern League.

He left this January to join Crook Town but has decided to retrace his steps after being impressed with new manager Jamie Poole and his plans.

"I had a good conversation with Jamie about the upcoming season and he seems like a top bloke and someone I would want to play for," says Josh. "The group of players he has brought in so far have the battling, hard-working mentality every club needs and the names he is also keen to sign have the same attributes.

"The lads already at the club, the fans and everyone running it are fantastic and a lot of them are close friends with me, so it was a no-brainer to return to Northallerton Town.

"I am really looking forward to pre-season with the lads and I am confident we can deliver on the pitch for the club and fans this season. Ally Ally Ally!"
