Lewis was signed late last week from Whickham and wasted no time in getting off the mark, scoring the second goal in our 2-1 victory at Newcastle Benfield.

"It's great to be here and I'm looking forward to this new start with Northallerton," he says. "Jamie Poole got in contact with me through a mutual friend and I liked what he had to say about the club.

"It looks like he's got a good thing going and it sounds a good project. I like to get in behind defences, hold the ball up and link up with the midfielders."

Lewis joined Whickham at the start of the season after previously representing Grangetown Boys Club, West Auckland, Crook and Tow Law.
