Chairman Jason Bleanch said: “We would like to place on record our deep gratitude to Colin for taking charge of the squad in difficult circumstances following the departure of Deano Browne in January.
“Colin inherited a severely depleted squad and was immensely helpful in recruiting players at short notice to fill key positions. There are many factors behind our disappointing results and I know how hard Colin was working to turn things around.
“He is someone I have huge respect for and on behalf of everyone at the Club I would like to wish him every success for the future.”
Colin’s assistant, Dion Raitt, and coach Matty Calvert will take charge of the team until the end of the season.
Chairman Jason Bleanch added: “We have four games left to preserve our First Division status and I appeal to our supporters to give Dion and Matty their maximum support in these crucial fixtures that will determine our future."
